Hello, my name is Marisa and I am a current graduate student at Pacific University. I’ve gown up with dogs all my life. I especially love spending time and dog sitting my sisters dog, Chubbs, who is a beagle-jack terrier mix. I have dog sat him for 8 years on and off with different lengths of time ranging for a couple days to a year. Along with dog sitting Chubbs, I would occasionally help out family check in on their fur babies whenever they needed to leave out of town. On my free time I love relax and catch up on missed shows, as well as, go on hikes. I am extremely excited to join Rover and provide exceptional care and love to your fur babies as if they were my own.

Marisa was an amazing sitter for my two big dogs over thanksgiving! She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures and videos through the stay. She asked great questions before the stay to ensure a good fit. The dogs were relaxed and happy when I picked them up. Would definitely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone! Marisa has gone above and beyond in regards to taking care of my dog, Skeeter. I work as a personal trainer which sometimes requires me to leave town for a couple of days without notice and Marisa has done an excellent job in caring for Skeeter. She is timely and flexible with a warm personality that makes me feel certain that my dog will be cared for with the upmost attention. Skeeter had once ran from home and Marisa, under her own time, helped me find him! It just goes to show that she really does care and will go above and beyond for the care of your dog. I can't think of anyone more that I trust to watch over Skeeter.
I would highly recommend and trust Marisa with your fur babies! She has watched my 8yr old beagle and 4yr old ShihTzu for as long as I could remember. Always trusted her with my babies as they were so excited to see her every time she came around. She communicates really well, sends pics and updates without you having to ask! We were sad that she had to move away for Grad School, but we know she’ll be as loving to any other dogs as she was to ours! Thank you Marisa!
