Experienced caring for dogs of all sizes as well as cats for 10+ years which includes pet sitting for friends and family, caring for my own animals growing up and volunteer work. I started pet sitting here on Rover in May of 2023! I have many years of experience with senior dogs and cats which includes medication administration. I am very experienced with anxious dogs and cats as well as rescue animals with complex behaviors and needs. All animals deserve love no matter their background and I’ll treat your pet as if they were my own! I always make sure to go at the dog or cats pace and give them whatever time they need to feel comfortable with me! I have a strong passion and love for animals and can’t wait to meet your fur baby!

Safety, trust & environment
Your pets safety and well being is my number one priority! Proper safety measures are always taken with any and every pet and will accommodate owners request as well as going over all details during the meet and greet. I always carry a flashlight and a reflective bag for evening walks, a portable dog water bottle, potty bags, etc. and am able to bring treats per pet parents request! I will use the pets usual harness, leash, treats, etc and am able to bring spares of these items if needed. I always plan meet and greets with all my new families so everyone will feel most comfortable! Please let me know any questions or concerns as I’m always around to help!

I needed a last minute drop in visit to feed my Mink and Marisa was quick to respond and was so helpful. She had watched her before and they had become fast friends. Mink remembered Marisa and they had a nice time hanging out while I was gone. I can do nothing but recommend Marisa she is amazing.
This is our second time having Marisa care for our cats and she always does an amazing job! She is very caring and our cats love her! We trust her in our home and with our pets!
Marisa was so wonderful! She took excellent care of my senior kitty while I was away on vacation ☺️ She also helped me feel reassured with her daily updates and photos! I would recommend her to anyone and will definitely reach out to her for future needs!!

Marisa always does a fantastic job watching Leo and our house while we are traveling. She goes above and beyond to ensure we have peace of mind knowing Leo is happy and safe!
This is our second time with Marisa caring for our cats. She really understands them and adapts well to what they need. She is warm and empathetic and sends lots of great pics and notes. It’s like she’s part of the family. We know our trio is in great hands while we’re away.

Schedule
I have flexible hours and will work with you and your fur baby’s schedule! Extremely accommodating schedule for each pet I work with and willing to adjust my schedule accordingly if able in order to meet the pet owners request!
