Heart-centered dog-sitting
I used to work as a Registered Nurse and as a licensed massage therapist. I bring the same helping spirit to my work with animals. I‘ve spent over twenty-five years raising my own cats and dogs, have taken care of family and friends’ pets, and continue to do the work I love professionally. I cared for a one-eyed Boston Terrier with multiple medical problems for fourteen years, currently live with a sweet and sassy (luckily, healthy) Boston girl named Coco. I have volunteered with a dog rescue organization and continue to learn about dog behavior and training. I am happy to continue any training that you are doing with your dog/puppy while caring for them. Medical problems are not new to me so please feel comfortable leaving me with medications or special diets. I will love your pet(s) like my own “fur baby” so feel secure in leaving them and your home in my care. Thank you and stay safe, happy, and healthy!

I will try to keep your dogs and/cats on their usual schedule of feeding, out time, and play. I prioritize pet safety and will not leave them unattended when outside, in the car, or with new people.

Wish we could give ten stars! Marisa was so attentive to our dog with special needs and looked after everything at the house. This was the first time in three years we were able to go away without worrying. Such a blessing!
Marisa stayed at our house for more than two weeks, caring for our cat and plants. She did an exceptional job! Our cat was very content and hardly seemed to miss us, which really shows how comfortable she was with Marisa. I would recommend her to anyone, and we would be delighted to have her house sit for us again!
Marisa was a wonderful pet sitter for our very shy rescue cat. She communicated with us every day we were away. Our kitty was well taken care of! I would highly recommend Marisa.
Marisa was absolutely awesome - kept us notified everyday as to how things were going to put us at ease. I can't say enough about her, we are totally grateful to have found her and she was a perfect match to our furchildren - i would totally recommend her services! Schedule
I will stay in your home overnight for house-sitting and be there as much as your pet requires. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to give your pets plenty of attention whether doing drop-ins or house-sits.
