Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs and cats since my entire life. We decided to get a dog of our own during the 2020 quarantine. Nismo, our golden retriever has brought so much happiness to our lives! At this time, we cannot take on another sibling for him, so we would love to care for your fur baby! I am a Physical Therapist and have been able to use my training to care for our dog after he had shoulder surgery, so we have experience with medications, exercise restrictions, and therapy. We love to go on nightly walks when it’s not raining. We go anytime after 6pm after work! We are able to take care of your dog on the weekends and will not commit to other events when we have a booking. I occasionally work a weekend shift, but one of us will always be home. We have a fenced in backyard for your dog to play and run in. We do allow pets on furniture, but we will abide by any rules you have set for your dog if you prefer they don’t get into that habit. Our one year old golden retriever will love to play and cuddle. Pictures will be taken throughout their stay to share with you in real time.

We will try and accommodate all requests as well as follow any rules that you have set for your pet. Someone will always be home with your pet to ensure a safe interaction between your dog and ours. If we do have to leave, you will be notified or it will be discussed ahead of time and we will separate our dog from yours for their safety. We want to ensure they have a safe and happy stay.

Let us know if your dog has any special needs or preferences so we can accommodate, such as medications, food, restrictions, routines, behaviors/quirks, etc. We will do our best to make it a safe and comfortable stay. Pets must be potty trained and not be aggressive towards other dogs as they will be with our male Golden Retriever in the home. We require that you provide proof of up to date vaccinations prior to their stay for the health of our dog and yours.
A typical day
We have plenty of toys (both traditional and puzzle games). In our fenced backyard we have plenty of balls and a kiddie pool. We love to explore parks around the city as well, one of our favorites is Loose Park. Lots of cuddles, play time in the backyard, and walks will be given.

Availability
Konrad works from home during the day and will be able to attend to any needs if they stay during the weekdays. I will be able to assist once home from work and on the weekends.
