Pet care experience
We own a Goldendoodle (Brody) so we understand the full responsibility of being pet parents ... And how stressful it is to leave them while you are away! We are working remotely and are available for daycare, and overnight stays. We will ensure your pup feels welcome in our home. We own our home - We have a gated front porch so no pups can escape when the front door opens. We also have a fully gated backyard and a pool. No pups are left outside in the backyard unattended! Brody wouldn’t allow for that anyways. 😂 Pets must have basic training and no major behavioral issues with humans or other animals - They must interact well with us and Brody. We always do a 'meet-and-greet' in our home before we commit to daycare or boarding to ensure everyone feels comfortable.

Marisa and her husband did a wonderful job caring for our dog, Teddy! Marisa communicated well and sent daily updates. She is warm and friendly. I highly recommend!!!
This was my 1st time using Rover and will definetly use it again, b/c of the awesome care Marisa K. gave to my dog Cami. Marisa communicated and sent pictures, which I loved, getting while on vacation. She has a fenced, clean secure back yard which I know Cami loved.
My 1.5 year old whippet Reba had never stayed with a sitter before, so I was nervous… but Marisa was FABULOUS!! Reba was instantly comfortable, and had a blast playing with Brody. I knew she was safe and well cared for, which let me enjoy my evening away. Highly recommend!!

We have a fenced front porch so no pup can escape from the front door. We also have a fully fenced in back yard. If your pup has a crate, favorite bed or blanket, we always advise that you bring that with them. We want them to feel as comfortable as possible in our home! We also ask that you fully complete your Rover profile and/or write down everything there is to know about your dog - food details/schedule, potty/walk schedule, vet, emergency contact, allergies, tricks/behavioral cues, etc.

A typical day
We typically walk near Riviera Bay, Crisp Park, North Shore Park, or Cresent Lake. We also play ball in our backyard frequently throughout the day.

Availability
Your pups fit right into our normal schedule! Jake works remotely and Marisa is returning to work two days per week with lots of flexibility. We don’t leave Brody unattended for very long because he’s spoiled so your pups will reap the benefit! We bring them on walks downtown St. Pete or Rivera Bay, over to our parents' house, in the pool, etc.
