I truly love all animals and I started walking my neighbors dog just because I couldn’t help but adore her more every time I would see her. Getting out in the sunshine on a walk while being able to take all the dog and neighborhood flower photos really makes me so happy.

Being able to enjoy the fresh air and notice all the pretty flowers while getting out the dogs energy during a neighborhood walk or stop at a park, etc is a highlight of my day.

Pet care experience
Having animals in my life has always been important to me! My boyfriend and I have shared three dogs together, one who we sadly lost to cancer. During his senior years I managed his medications and ensured that he was always as independent as he could be (even as he lost certain abilities, etc). We always made sure that all the things the dogs loved to do could be done in whatever way was possible for each of them. The more recent addition to our family is a spunky dog who is deaf and over halfway blind so we prioritize communication and modifying life’s experiences as much or as little as needed.

You will never find a dog walker, caretaker of your fur baby like Marisa! She has a gentle, calming presence that eases a dog! With that gentle, calming spirit comes a strong pack leader as well! My dog was a rescue of sorts, didn’t have a great start in life, but when we met Marisa his first week home, Oliver fell in love and through those first rough weeks, the crying, the trepidation of walking on a leash, fear of being left alone (so Marisa stayed by his side teaching him to trust us.) to a large hole in the couch, and an eaten windowsill, Marisa was there! SADLY, we do not live in North Carolina anymore but Ollie misses her dearly, we miss her dearly! She is truly gifted, we are blessed to have had her help us, help Oliie learn how to be a dog in those early days! The best of the best, hands down!
Marisa has been watching my cats for over a year. She is very caring. The cats love her and she spoils them. Marisa is a huge cat and dog lover. She’s always caring for someone’s cat or dog.
