Pet care experience
I've had a pet dog for as long as I can remember. My parents taught me the value of having a happy, healthy companion and instilled a love of pets and pet care that will last a lifetime. I've interacted with a variety of dogs over the years, both in my house and in friends' houses, from small Pomeranians to medium Beagles to large Black Labs and Great Danes. I currently have a Boxer/Bulldog mix who I've had since he was 6 weeks old, so your puppy will be comfortable with me! I know that trusting me with your pet is trusting me with a member of your family, and I take that honor very seriously. I look forward to meeting your fur baby!

Marisa was great! I was gone for four days and she kept my dogs bowl full of food and water, walked her, and made sure to send me pictures updating me on my dog. I felt safe leaving my dog with her and my dog loved her as well!
Marisa adopted a puppy two years ago, and I have watched her develop into a fantastic dog mom these past two years. Marisa demonstrates extraordinary patience, love, and commitment to not only her dog, but all animals she meets. The first thing she does when she comes home is greet her dog, Cow, with the biggest smile. She always has time to give him plenty of love and attention. Cow has lots of special needs due to allergies, and Marisa is amazing at being accommodating and caring for anything he requires. Let me know if your pet has any special needs or dietary restrictions. I like to give my pet treats and peanut butter, and I don't want to accidentally harm your dog! I'm willing to administer medication if needed as well.
A typical day
My dog has tons of toys that he'd love to share if your pet comes to visit. We can also go explore Clinton Dog Park on nice days, since we live a short drive away! I'm also willing to take your dog running, if needed. Just let me know!

Availability
I currently work part time sporadically throughout the day, so I have plenty of opportunities to visit your pet during the day. I also have full availability in the evenings and at night, so overnight visits are not an issue.
