I adore dogs. I also love being outside and going for long walks as much as I love playing and cuddling. I work part time from home so I can spend time with my two pups. My husband and I chose our apartment because it is only 6 blocks from where we work and 2 blocks away from an amazing park with a dog run. Our neighborhood is very dog friendly (we know all of the crossing guards, too!) We generally take our dogs for at least two long walks (1hr plus) and a few shorter ones. Our dogs play well with others and have lots of toys to share. We do positive reinforcement training and give only high quality natural treats without fillers. I have had dogs my entire life, from raising puppies to adopting a 5 year old. I am comfortable caring for dogs with special needs as well as those with anxiety issues. Drake was 1 1/2 when we got him, with a lot of abandonment issues, and then he had a stroke last year after which we learned to do physical therapy. Water 4 Dogs have guided us through retraining Drake to walk and taught us various therapy treatments. Zelda just turned one. She's just naturally easy going and loving. Zelda and Drake have quickly formed their big bro/lil sis pack but love meeting new friends. My ideal Friday night is hanging out with the two of them. Our home is puppy friendly with play and rest space.
