Pet care experience
I have specialized skills in caring for elderly pets with medication needs. Cared for pets with heart disease, cancer, and dementia. I always provide a loving and patience touch with our special friends. I typically work from 9-5 at my bookkeeping job Monday through Friday. I am available most evenings and weekends as well as early mornings. Just let me know a day in advance to allow for planning. I have a fenced back yard and offer trips to the dog park as well. My dog Sarge and I take walks around the neighborhood twice a day. He is super friendly and loves to meet other dogs and people. All pets are kept on leash when outside of home.

Muffin had a safe and happy stay with Marisa!
After months of consideration I have decided to leave a negative review because I feel like it’s the responsible thing to do in order to protect our furry family members. I drove from Austin to Tyler to meet Marissa at her home as we visited family in Tyler. We waited in our vehicles as she was not home. She pulled up behind us as left her truck running as if she was not going to stay. As she opened the front door to her house 2 dogs ran out. We help retrieve the dogs. One was hers and the other was being sat by her. Inside the home was less that 600 sq feet with two walls. There was urine and feces all over the floor. Extension cords, pillows , many things my 120 lb puppy Great Dane could have eaten. She told me she would not be there and was going to leave my dog with two other dogs he does not even know. She was not concerned with my dog eating something I would have to get surgically removed. We of course the not leave him there and caused a major scramble to find a last minute fix since we were out of town
Otis had blast with Sarge and Marisa.
Marisa did a wonderful job during her Drop-In visit at 10:30am. My three dogs really liked her!

Availability
I schedule my day around the needs of your pet. I am available for walks, drop in visits, and check ins until around 8:30 each morning and after 5:30 on weekdays. Weekends I am available for longer periods of time.
