Pet care experience
I've been pet sitting for friends the last 3 yrs and actively through Rover since the beginning of 2023. I've been responsible for their walks, meals, baths and playtimes. I grew up with dachshunds and labs but love animals of all shapes and sizes. I currently am dog mama to my dachshund Max who's 9 years old. I specialize in small pets/senior care and can care for any and all kinds of pets. I firmly believe a dog is at its best with quality care and attention. Your dog will be in good hands :)

My dogs loved Marisa! She did drop in visits several times a week during the summer months. I have two dogs (one is a puppy) and she was so attentive to their needs. Marisa was very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend letting Marisa care for your pets!

I walk Max 3x a day and he is fed twice. I treat all the dogs I watch with the same schedule unless otherwise specified. There's daily playtime usually about 30min-1 hr in the winter which are always monitored. During the warmer months we take him to parks and have longer play times. I follow a similar routine with other fur babies unless specified otherwise by the pet parent. I ask questions during my Meet & Greets to make sure I'm aligning myself with your pet's daily routine. Routine is important and it can be stressful for them when it's thrown off by a complete stranger. I also actively communicate with the pet parent on their well being to ensure complete transparency. You can expect a daily report from me via text or email complete with pictures from throughout the day. If I have any in-person meetings or work events during a scheduled house-sitting, I always communicate that schedule ahead of time in case that will be a conflict for the pet parent. Rest assured, when you leave your baby for a vacation or work function, you can count on me to provide the best quality care as I'm able. Transparency and communication are my top priorities when it comes to watching over your little one. I will always put their safety first while making the visit fun for your four-legged baby.

I need to know any allergies, medications, hand commands, schedule of feeding/walks, and any other routines common prior to overnight stays. I also would like to know if they have any fears/anxieties to be aware of while in care to ensure their safety.
A typical day
I love playtimes. If there's a yard to be had, you can guarantee we'll be running around in it. I love taking dogs on car rides to parks if they're not in walking distance. We'll be exploring the neighborhood sidewalks of all its scents. I'll make sure to have their favorite toy at the ready when they need some loving and attention :)

Availability
I am able to accomodate most pet needs including feedings, walks, playtime, and overnight stays. If I'm contracted to do a house-sitting, I assume that the pet parent would like me to stay overnight unless explicitly written otherwise. With my flexible fully remote schedule, it allows me to give the highest quality care to pets of all ages and sizes. I do this with my own pup Max, who is 9 years old. His daily schedule looks like 2-3 walks/day, 2 feedings, and all the play times he wants! I would give the same time and attention to your fur baby as I do my own.
