With a lifetime of experience caring for and training all sorts of pets, I look forward to taking the utmost of care of your precious family member. I am happy to accommodate individual needs of your precious family member while you are away. Animals can be so easily stressed and each pet has their own unique personality and requirements. Having a no charge meet and greet before you book is a great idea to exchange information regarding your pet. I grew up with pets and have always taken care of numerous pets, our family dog, cat, bird, and even a competition horse! As a newly retired clinical research manager it is time to get outdoors and enjoy the fresh air with some furry friends! With a large fenced back yard, steps from the dike trail and a huge school park, there are many options for lots of exercise tailored just for your needs. I am flexible and am happy to accommodate any special requests your pet requires.

Marion was an AMAZING boarder for my one year old dog. It was our first time using Rover. I had made a mistake for the day of pickup. Marion was extremely responsive, helpful, accommodating and understanding. After two days of boarding with Marion, my dog who used to be an extreme leash puller is not pulling as much anymore. After just two days! That just goes to show the amount of experience and expertise Marion has with dogs. Awesome experience. Will definitely rebook in the future. Thank you Marion!

I have a huge fenced back yard and can also crate your dog if needed. We are 2 blocks from the dyke and 50 meters from an elementary school with a huge grass field great for early romps. I have 3 rescue cats who are quite happy to hang out in the upper level bedrooms and watch curiously through a child's gate at the top of the stairs.

Let me know if your dog has any special requirements that I can accommodate or that has a behaviour you would some correction or redirection with. I have had industrial first aid training some years ago and will be looking for a course on first aid for pets to take in the near future.
A typical day
Games that are fun and at the same time support positive behaviours. Clients can bring a few favourite toys and we can chat about your requirements, training needs etc. Walks on the dyke are always fun for your dog as are trips to local school and off leash dog park IF not busy and this is something you like. Happy to reinforce requested behaviours with positive reinforcement (treats, pat and/or verbal rewards) to correct certain behaviours that client has requested such as pulling on leash.

Availability
At home full time allows me to provide individualized attention to your furry family member. I do not wish to board large numbers of pets, preferably 1 at a time. This will give each pet maximum attention and care. I look forward to arranging a no charge meet and greet for you and your pet at your convenience. I am an early riser which makes for very early walks in the morning sun and peaceful neighbourhood. Afternoon walks always on a different route and numerous potty breaks and backyard plays throughout the day will keep even the most active pet happy.
