Driven prevet student, love of dogs

Pet care experience

**back after taking a year break to focus on my last year of undergrad!** Hello! My name is Marion, I am 22years old and a recent graduate of the University of San Diego! I’ve had a passion for animals as long as I can remember, which is where my passion to be a veterinarian came from along with my desire to get a PhD in conservation ecology. I am CPR and First Aid certified in cats and dogs! I have worked at an animal hospital for two years while in high school and come with a very good recommendation letter from the old head vet/previous owner of the hospital. I am super comfortable cutting nails, giving baths, most grooming needs and giving any type of medication! I have been told I have a knack for getting animals to trust me, especially when in stressful situations (as was seen during my experience in an animal hospital). I have experience with shy or anxious pets and I understand how for some dogs earning trust takes a while, and I have no problem taking that time. I have been caring for animals for as long as I can remember, and have never had an unsatisfied costumer! I have a loveable shih tzu named Asha who has completely stolen my whole heart but somehow I still have more love to give! I can be very flexible on time and will work around your schedule! Will respond within the hour between 9am-6pm.

Marion was our first use of Rover’s house and dog sitting services and we were greatly impressed. Her volunteer experience and desire to become a vet made her stand out. Marion came for a meet-and-greet with our two rescued Labs and we liked her immediately. She was comfortable caring for our dogs’ needs (feeding different foods; providing supplements; administering medication; etc.) and responding to their different personalities. Marion was communicative and provided updates on how our boys were doing; we felt comfortable the whole time we were away. We highly recommend Marion to house and dog sit will use her again in the future!

Marion took care of our old dog Sammy. Sam was a Bichon & at 12 years old started to have health problems. Marion was keenly aware of his condition & was not only exceptionally kind to him & us but incredibly patient w/our little guy. She even gave him his medicine & figured out strategies (tricks) to make sure he didn't spit it out. She was completely honest & reliable & at her young age had an amazing amount of integrity. She understands in her soul how wonderful dogs are & went out Of her way to help us. She would make an amazing addition to your staff. She's the best!!

Marion will be an excellent dog caregiver. She is well-trained in veterinary skills and has experience with handling and caring for dogs. I can personally vouch for Marion's skills as a responsible and loving dog caregiver. She stayed with my dog for multiple days while my family was on vacation. We came home to a happy well-walked and well-love dog. Our Leo still loves to see Marion which is a great testimonial. Please don't hesitate to contact me for more information. Marion will be wonderful!
