Pet care experience
I have had pets growing up and my entire life. I have grown up with dogs, lizards, birds, bunnies and even fish. There has ALWAYS been a dog in my house. My longest living pet was 19 and the youngest I’ve had is 6 months. Throughout my life, I have loved animals and find great joy in providing them love and care. I have dog sat for family and friends as well and just really find the love in taking care of animals.

Marina was wonderful caring for our senior dogs. She sent notes and photos each time she visited the dogs and was very conscientious with their care.
Marina was awesome! She provided a detail updates at each drop in visit.
Marina is lovely and I like her a lot. She was genuinely affectionate with our pets and they warmed up to her quickly, although there were a few challenges. To be fair to her, we have a LOT going on. I left detailed notes and videos, and still a few tasks were missed. These oversights didn't lead to any serious problems but do suggest a need for heightened attentiveness, and a need for questions if something seems off.

I understand animals can be incredibly smart and work their way out of things or even get into things if they shouldn’t! If your furbaby likes to get into trouble, I am very attentive and can keep them out. For any specifics (my mom used to have a pig that could open the refrigerator!), let me know and I’ll keep an even closer eye out.

Let me know specific things your dogs need! Whether it’s sleeping in the bed or medication, I can do for you! I will say I am a smaller sized person so if you have a large dog that likes to jump up, let me know so I can be prepared when I meet them! My dog does it all the time :)
A typical day
I LOVE long walks with dogs and finding new places to go. Playing with dogs is also very enriching and enjoyable, throwing their favorite toy, playing tug-o-war, anything your dog loves, I will love to do!

Availability
I work from home so my schedule overall is pretty flexible! I have a desktop to work from my apartment and a laptop to be able to work from anywhere. I have dog sat while bringing my laptop multiple times and finding the balance between work and play is second nature at this point. When dog sitting I have spent weeks away or even just a night if needed. Whatever you need, we can make it work and figure out something that works for you, me, and your sweet baby!
