Loving & Passionate fur babysitter

Pet care experience

I’ve been pet sitting for as long as I could remember. Long before I was old enough to get my first real job at 16, I was watching three different neighbors dogs. After I got my license I was pet sitting anyone we heard needing a sitter from my aunt to distant friends, even co-workers.

Marina took great care of our special needs dog Fluffy. She is reliable and was available to help us on a short notice. She understood and followed all the logistics to visit Fluffy while we went away. I am very happy to find her here on Rover and would highly recommend her. She sent us all the necessary updates about Fluffy along with adorable picture with him. Our dog and us really like her and looking forward to book with her again in future. Thank You Marina you are awesome :)

Marina did an outstanding job watching our 6 month old puppy. She took her on multiple walks and trips to the dog park. She also kept us updated with pics and videos. We would definitely have her watch our dog again!

Marina did a great job with Mimi and Luna! We definitely hire her again when we have to leave our dogs for Vacation.

Marina did a great job with our large, older dog and our two chinchillas. She also took care of our house while we were gone for a few days. She asked lots of questions beforehand to make sure everything was done the way we'd like. She's a very sweet girl that obviously loves animals!

Safety, trust & environment

I fully understand that sometimes your dog is not just your pet, they are family. When you choose me to watch your dog you will know they are in safe hands. One of my strongest assets is attention to detail. With many years of dog sitting and owning my own dogs I am really good at reading pet social cues. Many pets feel distressed when their family is gone and I do a really good job to ease that stress away. For example many pets will feel so stressed that they don't eat, hand feeding dogs is a sign of respect for one another along with making them feel safe.

A typical day

As your potential dog sitter, my day with your dog will revolve around providing them with a safe, loving, and structured environment. I'll start the day by checking on your dog, feeding them their breakfast, and taking them out for a morning walk to get some fresh air and exercise. Throughout the day, I'll engage your dog in playtime, mental stimulation activities, and any training exercises you request. I'll make sure your dog is comfortable and happy, and I'll keep you updated with photos and messages about our adventures. I'll ensure they receive their meals and any necessary medications on schedule. As the day winds down, I'll take your dog for an evening walk and settle them in for the night, making sure they feel safe and secure until you return. My goal is to make your dog feel loved and cared for, just like they would with you.
