Pet care experience
I’m a very active individual and love to be outdoors whenever possible. I’ve had experience walking all types of sizes and breeds of dogs. For dog walks, all would be fun and interactive, allowing them to explore the outdoors safely. I am very well organized and always abide by house rules. When doing drop ins, I always ensure to check surroundings and keep the house in order. If there is a certain schedule to follow, I always make sure to arrive 5-10 minutes prior incase there are other duties needing to be taken care of. I have always been an animal lover since I was a kid and I will treat every dog and cat with special care and if it was part of my family.

It would be great to know about any special needs, medications or behaviours. I have no preference in breed, I am comfortable with all dogs. I would also like to know if they are friendly with other dogs or if they are leash reactive as it will make it easier for walks.
A typical day
All the adventures for your dog when they hang out with me. We’ll explore different areas of the town for walks so there’s always new smells for them (mental stimulation is always ideal). If the weather isn’t the best, we'll find some indoor mental stimulation activities to do (unless they like the rain, then we’ll suit up).

I am a correctional officer here in Nanaimo. Current schedule is a 4 on/4 off pattern. If asking for days that I am working, I am more than happy to make it work for the both of us if you are comfortable with that option.
