Pet care experience
I've had multiple dogs/cats growing up and always loved exercising and playing with them. I have had a number of gigs providing pets with care and attention. I love active dogs and cats that are entertaining to be around, as long as I can tell that pets are happy I know I'm doing a good job. I currently can't own pets because I have been moving so much the past couple of years, but look forward to owning a couple of dogs once I put roots down.

I was very pleased with Marin's care for my dog, Buddy when I boarded him with her for a long weekend. I received an update over the weekend and some details about his time with her when I picked him up. Marin was flexible in accommodating my schedule, which had a last-minute change in my return time. She was also willing to meet Buddy before I boarded him. This helped me feel less concerned about leaving him with her. I think Buddy liked the stay. When I picked him up and walked to the car, he turned to follow Marin!
Marin is a very caring person, and I have personally seen her give quality care to pets. Not only does she show them the love and affection that they need on a regular basis, but she also takes care of their less glamorous needs with consistency and dedication that is truly admirable.
Marin is an animal lover and active person who walks, plays & cuddles my dogs also gentle with my cats-- incredibly responsible with following instructions.

If pet sitting at home, I live in a studio duplex with a fenced backyard. This would allow the dog to enjoy some outdoor time if they wanted and not be cooped up inside with me. I have a car that can transport animals safely with enough room to fit comfortably. As for other people's environment, I have done my fair share of house sitting and am very respectful towards other people's space. I do what I am told for the job and try to leave no trace.

A typical day
I love playing with dogs. Especially taking them to a field and running around with them or sitting on my floor and playing tug-of-war. On the weekends I enjoy early morning coffee walks.

Availability
I am currently a student-athlete at the University of Arkansas so the middle of the day is fairly full of running around and school. My availability is in the early morning to late afternoon and into the night. I live close to campus so I have plenty of opportunities throughout the day to run back to my house if the pet needs to be checked in on or requires attention. I'm fairly free on weekends till mid-January, always in town and spending most of my time at home.
