Pet care experience
If you ever listened to me on the radio, you KNOW how much I LOVE animals and now I'm hoping to share that love with YOUR fur babies! I've been caring for my own dogs & cats for decades, I've pet-sit for lots of friends, I'm a volunteer foster mom for a local rescue and have volunteered in the past for the Wis. Humane Society in their "dog spa." I spent a year working at a local daycare/boarding facility that specializes in care for special medical needs/senior pets. I'm comfortable with anything that has fur & have a special fondness for seniors/special needs animals. Besides playing with, walking, feeding & cuddling your dog, I'm happy to give meds, clip nails, do baths, work on basic commands and I'll even read out loud to them if you think they'd enjoy that. If you're not familiar with who I am, I can provide you with lots of references from area pet parents who would be happy to speak with you.

Marilynn was UNBELIEVABLE with my dog!! He’s a difficult rescue and she was aware of it, but gave him a chance. He doesn’t tolerate other dogs, but by the end of his 24 hour stay he was playing in the yard with several other dogs (all larger than him). I was in shock. She is truly the dog whisperer and I’d trust Todd with her any time. Thank you so much, Marilynn!!!! You truly do love pets. ❤️
Another great experience with Marilynn!
Marilynn took care of our two sassy lil pups for an entire week. The sassy part is that they don't typically play nice with other dogs - unless they are at Marilynn's! She has worked her dog-whispering magic on them and they have become more sociable. They love Marilynn and we do too:)
Marilynn is an amazing human, her care and love for dogs is like no other person I have seen. She is very passionate, caring and loving and I can guarantee your dog will have a great time with her. If you'd like your pet to come to my home, I have a large fenced yard and two very social dogs who are happy to have guests. I do have a dog-friendly cat, but I can keep a baby gate up if that would be better for your dog.

The more info you can give me on your dog, the better job I can do caring for him or her! I need to know what your dog loves, what your dog will tolerate and what he or she does NOT like. I strive to do everything I can to mirror what your dog’s daily home life is. Whether it's boarding or just a drop-in, I want this to be a great experience for ALL of us. Whether you’re traveling or having work done in your house or whatever your reason is for needed daycare or boarding, I want you to feel 100% certain that your fur child is getting the absolute BEST care available!
A typical day
When I care for someone's beloved dog, I like to do whatever YOU, the owner, suggest for activities so we can keep his/her day & night similar to what you do at home. I live in a great neighborhood for walkies because we can stick to streets with very little traffic & I'm close to a nice park area. If I'm dropping by to walk your dog at your house, just let me know your preferred routes. We can do whatever pace your dog is comfortable with, but please know that I'm not a runner. As far as other activities, that's up to you. I have a good yard for fetch, Danny is usually up for some chasing around and there are always squirrels to watch. Indoors, any kind of playing is allowed and we're really good at hanging on the couch to watch TV.

Availability
My schedule is VERY flexible. I do work part time at IKEA (16-20 hrs per week), but I rarely work longer than a 4 1/2 hr shift so I’m not away from the dogs too long. I'm available days and evenings every day of the week, your house or mine. If you're looking for a 10 minute "potty visit" or you need me to babysit for 10 days, we can make it work! :-)
