Marilyn was amazing. We left for a month and a half for a memorial trip to Alaska and left our Hananese/poodle/Yorkie mixes with her. It was their first time with a sitter and they are still young so a little rough around the edges but Marilyn was so kind and helpful. She sent pictures to us every week and was easy to talk to. I knew my little Sadie would be a handful and I was right. She barks and is pretty sassy - definitely a high maintenance momma’s girl. Unfortunately both Sadie and Charlie said hello by pooping right in the middle of Marilyn’s living room floor. I expected Marilyn to throw up her hands and say no way, but she took it in stride and smiled through all of my apologies as I frantically cleaned up. Marilyn is a very patient person and is very organized. My pups were very well cared for. They got outside time and were bathed and well fed. (They we’re both a little pudgier when we picked them up, so I can tell they have been eating haha.) Marilyn watched other dogs while we were gone which I was excited about so my pups could socialize. Marilyn was upfront about Sadie’s issues and I was grateful for the feedback. I would suggest doing a meet up with Marilyn before leaving for an extended trip to help pups feel more comfortable. And we will work on more training with Sadie before leaving her with a sitter again. We would love to use Marilyn as a sitter again if she’ll have us. ;)

Marilyn was great. It was nice to be able to go out of town knowing that our dog Roscoe was in good hands. She also went above and beyond by sending periodic progress reports with photos to let us know how he was doing. It was well worth the price.
