Pet care experience
I have had multiple unique animals that I've taken care of since I was a child- bunnies, snakes, ducks, a pet pig, as well as cats and dogs. I am well-versed in giving animals their medication and have dealt with scared or aggressive dogs before, as long as instructions are given on how best to handle said situations.

I have a fenced in yard that covers five acres, as well as two extremely friendly and mellow dogs. Our house has a dog door so the dogs can go in and out as they please. Dogs are only allowed in the kitchen, but it's a third of the house, and there's a couch and a big chair specifically for the dogs, and someone is always in the kitchen to keep the dogs company. There's tile on the floor so accidents are easy to clean up. I require at least 20 minutes for meet and greets, as we are currently fostering a traumatized German Shepherd and it takes her a bit to calm down with strange people. She has not had any issues with other dogs.

A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks. The Katy Trail is only a few miles from my house, and it's a great place for dogs to smell new things. I also enjoy brushing dogs.

I am a graduate student, so my schedule is very open and flexible, and I don't mind traveling and staying overnight as long as I have access to the Internet for school assignments.
