Pet care experience
At one point in my childhood I’ve had 14 pets, a line I will use as my fun fact for those obligated intros during meetings or interviews. I grew up having multiple dogs and cats so I’m very comfortable with animals. Through high school and college I have pet sat for families on vacations looking for a trusted person for their beloved animal and have even walked dogs in San Francisco through a dog walking company as a substitute walker for their holiday seasons. I love a good walk to keep me active during the day and know your dogs would too! I currently live with an adorable 72lb gold retriever who is my roommate’s cute pet that I enjoy talking out during my days off from work. I would love a pet of my own but my apartment only allows one pet sadly :( Any feeding, bathing, or particular needs you have for your best buddy I’m happy to do to ensure they are living their best life while you get to live yours too :)

Marilyn stayed with my pup in my condo while I was away on a trip and she did a great job! I came back to a tidy home and a happy pup. Needless to say I highly recommend her!
Marilyn goes above and beyond when she walks and looks after our dog Freddie! He is a rescue and can be a little timid and she really puts in that extra effort to make him feel comfortable. He loves spending time with her and comes back from his walks super happy every time. We are very grateful to have found Marilyn!!
Marilyn is great with timid pups. My guy is a 1yo rescue that’s super scared of all new people but he warmed to her on the first visit which is faster than anyone ever. She has a very friendly and laid back demeanor that helped my pup relax with her. Highly recommend her especially if your dog is skittish.
Marilyn has been taking my dog on walks for a year now and both my dog and I love her !!! She’s reliable and I feel comfortable with her taking care of my energetic, 80lb golden retriever down the busy city streets. She has also pet sat for me multiple times and she always makes sure my dog is comfortable, fed and exercised. Marilyn is awesome, your dog will love her and will be well cared for.

For my client’s pets, I understand every animal is different. For example, when I walked dogs in San Francisco one Poodle had very sensitive paws that got infected easily so wearing socks to go on walks was important to the owner. I want to make sure your pet is always having a good time and I look to avoid any situation where there is a danger for the animal. I’m a clean person and clean my own roommates dogs paws before entering the apartment so I understand if you have any special requests while caring for your pet. I’m happy to help take care of your animals and look forward to getting to know them.

Availability
I’m a nurse so I work 3 days a week 12 hrs shifts. On my days off I really like to keep social and active. Walking or sitting for your best buddy is the perfect solution since I have flexible days and hours to work during the weekdays that most everyone is busy.
