Pet care experience
I’ve been caring for dogs, cats and horses since I was very young. Recently I have been caring for 2 to 3 dogs and a couple of cats at their home on a horse farm where I worked for 6 1/2 years and still doing on occasion. I have helped my neighbor, friends and family care for their pets on many occasions. I own 2 sweet collies, a 13 yr old who we recently added a ramp for and a 10 year old on medication for epilepsy who loves to catch a soft frisbee. We also have cats, horses, chickens and ducks. I have experience with various dog breeds from large to small. I have always got along well with all animals. I do have experience administering medications when needed.

My husband and I live on a small in town acreage/hobby farm and we’ve both retired. He loves animals too and makes friends with every dog he meets and cats too. We have a large fenced yard so a lot of room for dogs to run and play. I have recently fenced another good sized area of the yard to use when necessary for keeping dogs separated. We have a large utility/mudroom where dogs can sleep and spend time when needed and also dog beds, blankets and couches in other rooms of the house. I have large and small wire crates if ever needed. I have an excellent driving record and drive an suv and can safely drive your pets whenever needed.

Do they get along well with other dogs? What is their normal schedule for eating, potty breaks and naps? What kind of play activities or toys do they like for fun? Is it ok for them to have any treats like a milk bone? Does he or she have have any special needs? Are they up to date on vaccinations and flea and tick prevention?
A typical day
Your pets will get the care that is needed along with lots of love and affection, belly rubs, brushing when needed and play time. When staying with me, they can go for a run and play in our large fenced yard and usually play with other dogs. We will go outside often. Indoor activities include, routine care, toys to play with, petting and lazy time.

Availability
I retired recently and currently have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to care for your pets and give them any attention they need at your place or mine. I am home full time and usually am not away long if running any errands.
