Pet care experience
I have cared for dogs and cats my whole life. Currently, I have a playful 3.5 year old chocolate lab and a very sweet 2 year old cat. We live a very active life style, playing in the yard, going on walks at the local bogs or the beach, or going to the dog park. I have worked on training and handling dogs both with my pup and with the dogs I grew up with. I am comfortable with handling both young and old pets. I am available for drop-ins for cats/dogs, dog walking, and day care for dogs in my home. I treat all pets as if they are my own and am very patient when it comes to giving each pet what they need.

We have a fenced in yard and two pets of our own that would love the friendship and playtime with your pet. I'm happy to crate if needed (we have one that can be used, or we can set yours up in our home), or free roam if that's preferred! I will always treat you pet as if they are one of my own and respect the boundaries/training/ limitations you are most comfortable with. When with your pets, I am happy to provide constant communication sending updates and photos.

Any commands your dog responds to, what their regular behavior is like/how they've been socialized, are they leash trained?, do they like water/swimming or not, any treats that they love and what your typical treat practices are, do they do well with cats or not (either is totally fine because our cat loves to hang out solo upstairs, so separation can be accomodated easily). Anything else you think might be helpful for me to know to give your dog the best possible care!
A typical day
We love to go on daily walks at the local bogs or near the beach in Duxbury/Kingston. I love to do training time with some treats to reinforce mental stimulation as well as physical activity. Play time in the yard is a multiple-times-a- day activity and can be with our own dog or solo. We are fully set up to create separation if needed but typically the dogs love to play together and hang out as a pack.

Availability
I am currently on sabbatical and will have lots of time to dedicate to spending time with your pets. Typically any time between 8am-7pm are good for me.
