Pet care experience
I live in Stuyvesant Town, right next to a fenced dog park area, and surrounded by plenty of green space -- the perfect place for your dog to come play. I grew up with dogs and I can never get enough of them! I absolutely love caring for animals and giving them the attention they need and deserve. My roommate has partial custody of a dog currently, so I get plenty of dog-care experience day-to-day, but my attention will be 100% on your buddy! I work for an environmental non-profit in the city, which allows me flexible hours and work-from-home options so that I can give your dog(s) the attention, care, and time that they deserve! I absolutely adore dogs, and I would love to put your mind at ease by caring for yours while you're away, dropping in on your dog while you're at work, or taking your dog out on a great walk!

Marika was awesome! She was very communicative throughout the day and sent some adorable pics of Albert. I could tell he had a great time hanging out with Marika since he came home super happy and tired, so I’d definitely recommend!
Wow, Marika is the best!! Was quick to respond to messages, took my pup on many walks and followed the instructions perfectly. But most importantly, my little Luna loved her and had the best time. Would recommend!!
Marika helped out with my Rhett sooooo much while I was in SF for work. She was very flexible and responsive. She just wrapped up her availability and came by to say goodbye recently and return our keys. Rhett was SOOOOOO happy to see her. He went ape shit…. He was like… "MAAAAAYHHHHH FRIIIEEEEEENDDDD!!!!!" when he saw her. My heart exploded into a million pieces… It was obvious they bonded and my little best buddy was well cared for. Thanks Marika.

I have a cozy apartment that is right next to the Stuyvesant Town dog park -- a small fenced area where pups are always playing together! I can take your dog to socialize with the other dogs there, or we can go on solo walks, play in my apartment, and explore they grassy parks all around Stuytown. It's a great outdoor environment for a dog, and you can let me know what you and your dog are most comfortable with!

A typical day
Stuyvesant Town offers a great space for walks and outdoor activities! The large, grassy areas and paths make it a favorite place to go on walks. And with so many other dogs out on walks as well, it's a very social place for a pup! We also like to go to the dog park in Tompkins square, just a 5 minute walk, for a larger fenced dog space. If a dog is especially social, we can also stop by Boris and Horton, the dog cafe, to make some friends and have a treat!

My schedule is flexible! I am particularly flexible Friday-Monday, as I work fully remotely those days and can be 100% available to your pet. I prefer to go to the office Tues-Thurs, but it's nearby and I am flexible -- I can easily accommodate your pal.
