Hello! I have been around dogs all my life and feel comfortable with all sizes and energy levels. Currently, I live with 2 dogs of medium size, one of which is quite demanding and one of which is the epitome of chill, so I can match the vibe that your pup gives off. Along those lines, I will carry on whatever discipline you have established (whether relaxed or strict) and make sure your dog feels at ease while in my care. I can do long walks and at home care. I am also familiar with other pets, so bunnies/cats/birds/fish/amphibians, you name it, I have likely owned one myself and can care for them too! Most importantly, I work a day job from 8:30am to 5:00pm every weekday here in San Jose, so I end up sitting dogs / pets who are okay to be alone for many hours.

Marika is awesome. She was super trustworthy and thoughtful when doing check in visits for our cat. She gave her plenty of love and attention while checking in with us to keep us updated. Definitely recommend her service to others!

Marika stayed overnight at our house with our two Golden Retrievers. It was clear from the daily pictures and updates that Marika takes a real interest in the dogs she cares for. Marika played with the dogs in the backyard and also took them both on daily walks. When you have golden's you are used to having their hair get on the hardwood floor, and Marika even did a quick sweep to make our house clean when we returned. Having a dependable sitter for the dog and house is really important to us, and Marika made our being away from home stress free. Have her booked for our summer vacation as well!
