Hello there fellow pet parent! I’m Mari and caring for animals is - literally- my life. I’m a recently graduated Veterinarian having moved from abroad to Alberta. So on top of 9+ year as a dog and cat mom, I bring 5 years of professional experience caring for a variety of animals, including hundreds of dogs and cats. While my main activities involve preparing for (quite expensive) exams to practice as a Doctor in Canada and working as a Vet Assistant, I would like nothing more than to walk and sit for pets close to home. Puppies, seniors, runners, huge, tiny, shy, sleepers, players, overweight… I’m good for it. A profound care and respect for your pet, that’s a promise. And yeah, a bit of training (if you wish) and fun times too 😁

I don’t want you to feel overwhelmed ok? But please understand that the more complete information about your pet I have, the better I can care for and be prepared. Here are a few information that can help me provide the best service possible. Any special needs? Recent health problems? Favourite toys and/or games? How is your usual routine like (food, med, sleep and exercise times)? How is the behaviour with other dogs, cats? Feeding amounts and preferences?
A typical day
Mental and physical stimulus at the adequate amount for your pet’s context, that’s what we should aim for. Playing catch, sitting, hugging, running, biting (toys), sniffing around, learning tricks, fast or slow and short or large walks… there’s plenty to do and we can explore more and more as we get to know each other.

I’m pretty flexible these days… Tue/Thu evenings and occasional night shifts blocks only. My online classes and study sessions can be rearranged on most cases.
