Pet care experience
I have taken care of my own fur babies since they were puppies. I have also taken care of an older English bulldog. I would give medication and help him walk/ carry him outside since his hips were hurting at the time. There is nothing I enjoy more than taking a stroll with my littles or a good jog with my bigger pups. I understand how busy life can be and would love to help alleviate the worry of not having enough time or energy to play with or take your fit baby on a walk.

With a last minute need for a cat sitter, Mariela to the rescue!! I was so nervous as I’d never used River before but upon my initial meeting with Mariela, I was immediately put at ease. She listened to my needs, was very attentive, and even my antisocial kitty came out to meet her! Mariela visited as promised, shared updates and status on my kitty, and shared fun pics of Jingles having a great time! I will definitely use Mariela for all future needs and highly recommend her for any pet sitting needs you may have. Thank you, Mariela!! 😸

At home I keep my two bigger dogs in a fenced in yard and my two small dogs inside. They are all very friendly and play together.I also have 2 indoor/outdoor cats. As you can see it’s a full house so it might be a bit overwhelming for a new friend to be around them all so I would prefer to come to them for playtime and walks.

Please let me know what personality your dog typically is. We as owners know our kids better than anyone, for example my husky malinois is a bit of a reactive dog with some. It’s something we are working on. I watch for signs when we go on walks if he would like to interact with the others or we just need to focus on our walk. So any personal preference from you and your dog would be appreciated.
A typical day
What I enjoy most is taking my own huskies on trails where there is so much sightseeing and smells and if we’re lucky there will be a water body near ie. lake, creek or beach.

Availability
I currently work part time delivering flower arrangements for a flower shop and have plenty of time to take your doggies on a walk or check on them and play with them. I am very flexible with my schedule and can take same day appointments.
