Pet care experience
I believe love is contagious and family comes first. I am a proud doggie mom of 2, Bob 7 and Oliver 8. They have been my companions through thick and thin and have traveled with me from the other side of the country. I consider them family. I would treat your dogs as if they were mine! Dogs have always been a part of my life and I understand how much important they are those of us who own them. Our daily routines include them including our daily stress relievers, smiles and daily tail wags! I have dealt with all kinds of dogs, ages and sizes. From puppies to the elderly (my first family dog passed last year at 13 yrs. and small to large.

Anybody who knows me knows how protective I am when it comes to my Yorkies, and how reluctant I am to leave them with anyone for a whole weekend. That being said, as soon as Tippy & Lucy met Mariel they took to her almost as much as my wife and I did. After testing a handful of sitters its comforting to know that my family has found the perfect one for us!
Mariel absolutely adores dogs. I’ve never met anyone that loves ALL dogs as much as she does. If I could choose anyone to care for any dog no matter how big or small, young or old, I would choose Mariel.

How does your dog react to meeting new people and dogs? Once introduced any place the dog doesn't like being pet? Can they have treats? Specific diets/ allergies? Do they like to run or play fetch? Can children pet your dog? Do they get scared of certain sights or sounds? Any areas to avoid?
A typical day
I usually bring my dogs to the arboretum, weather providing. If dogs are healthy and active I will jog with them or play fetch. Playing with them and theirs toys. Some like to find them if hidden or just a light toss in the living room. All after a belly rub and the tail wags and kisses have subsided...
