Hi! My name is Mariel and I am available to sit, walk/watch, and play with your pets! I grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan and moved into the Squirrel Hill area with my partner, Adam, who is from Sewickley. We now love exploring and living in Pittsburgh! Whether by myself or together, he and I will help to give your animals the love they deserve and the best possible care or whatever you need for house sitting while you’re away. Growing up I had two cats and one dog in the house. I love cats, dogs, and all animals. My family had a farm where we tended to our horses, sheep, chickens, goats, bunnies, as well as our cats and dogs. I am very active and love walks and just being outside, I’d love to spend quality time with your dogs. I have had many cats come through my life so I also love spending time playing with them and getting cuddles. I try to volunteer at the Humane Society every month, and in college, I was part of a group that held discussions on animal cruelty. Right now, I am waiting for my next dog to join my family, but in the meantime, I would love to play and get to form relationships with yours! I do currently have a cat of my own at home so I'd ideally be looking to do pet care in your house. I absolutely love taking nice photos of dogs and cats on my phone's portrait mode. I would love to hang out with your animals because this is something I do to have more animals in my life, I truly love spending time with our furry companions and want to get to know each one I meet! My hope is to surprise you with how thorough a pet check in/update can really be- it’s natural to be nervous about leaving your pet behind, but I will write you a novel of your pets play by plays and send a photo album that you can look forward to each time I get to hangout with your furry loved ones.
