Hi, I'm Mariel! I work from home so I have a lot of time to walk and take care of pets in the area! I have experience watching pets (both cats and dogs) for friends and family. I am the go-to dog sitter for my aunt's two dogs -- one elderly beagle and one middle-aged dachshund, who require a lot of care, so I am prepared for any and all types of dogs. I need to get out and walk just like your dogs! I am friendly, personable and flexible. I grew up with a big, energetic dog, so no type of dog big or small will scare me off! I care a lot about animals, and will take care of your pet as if it's my own.

Mariel was wonderful! She took such great care of my kitty, and also watered the millions of plants we have! Haha! She sent me regular updates and pictures, and spent a lot of quality time with my kitty, who definitely loved her :) I highly recommend Mariel to watch your fur babies!
Mariel is one of the most responsible and on top of it people I know. Her love and care for all living things, especially dogs, makes her the perfect candidate to take care of pets. She’s a responsible, caring, and energetic dog sitter and has watched my dog, Groucho, multiple times. When I return home, I sometimes wonder if he will miss her more than he missed me.
On top of being a responsible, on-time person, Mariel has a tremendous love for all animals. I can think of no other person I'd rather trust my pet with!
Mariel would make an excellent caretaker for dogs because she is attentive, loving, and highly responsible. She has had her own dogs since she was very young and therefore has extensive experience with dogs of all types. She is incredibly qualified for this position!

A typical day
When I drop by, I will feed your pet as needed and will take the dog for walks or play outside if there is an area. If allowed on an overnight trip, I love to sleep in the same room as the pet. It makes me feel safe and close to them.
