My friends say I'm the best dogsitter around! Your pup will get long walks & lots of love and attention. You'll get tons of photos and check ins! I've had pets my entire life - dogs, cats, and horses - and I love animals! Dogs must be cat friendly as I have an older cat at home. For drop in visits with both dogs and cats, I promise lots of quality cuddle time, and any meds, food, litter cleaning etc that needs to be done. I will also send lots of photos!

I was always updated with everything that my dog was doing. It was such a relief to know my little man was in excellent hands. I was able to completely enjoy my vacation without any worries. She took so many photos and sent them to me without having to ask ♥️. Will definitely book again
Wonderful job taking care of my dog. Sent lots of pictures and updates. It was clear Marieke went above and beyond to spoil her, even turning on the heated blanket for her to cuddle on. Wouldn’t hesitate to use her again!
There is so much that can be said about Marieke, but words really wouldn't relay how much we appreciate the care she gave Walter. Considerate, kind, and so communicative during Walter's stay, leaving Walter with Marieke was like leaving him with family.

Please let me know things like how your dog is on walks and around other dogs, as well as what to expect when they meet my cat in my home. If I'm dropping in, I am able to give medications (pills, topical, inhalers, injection) as needed.
A typical day
I love going for walks around the neighbourhood, especially to walk down along the river. At home, we spend time playing with favourite toys and lots of cuddles. If your dog enjoys it, we will go to a dog park or strolls through Conroy Pit with other friends with dogs!

Availability
I am a teacher, and off all summer long. During the school year, I am at work Monday-Friday, but home by 3pm. I compete in triathlons, so I am out and about constantly getting in my exercise, so your dog will get at least one long walk per day (distance/time to be discussed based on your dogs needs), and lots of cuddles. Cats in your home will get anything they need - cuddles, a warm lap, or for me to stare at them from a distance and tell them how beautiful they are.
