I have been taking care of dogs for many years so your pup will be in good hands! Every dog is so happy here with my two small dogs, all the toys, and the large yards! I foster for Helen Woodward Animal Center and have boarded over 100 dogs (including many, many puppies from 1-day-old). I assisted two home births to 15 puppies, and had 5 full families (mom + puppies) until end of nursing. If you need your puppy to have a safe home to learn new skills while you are away, this is the home for them. My two senior dogs are also very helpful in teaching them dog étiquette ! :) I also have lots of experience with adult dogs and am comfortable giving medicine. I have a large yard that is dog-proof with lots of toys of all shapes and sizes. I will take your dog(s) on walks, play with them, I am home all day so they will be in good human and canine company during their stay. At night, it would be preferable (but not required) that your dog slept in their crate. It is important that our dogs meet prior to boarding to insure smooth sailing during the entire stay. My dogs are extremely friendly and tolerant (they have shared their home with 100+ dogs after all) but dogs are still wild animals so an introduction and making sure everyone gets along is extremely important. I will send you lots of pupdates and photos of your side-kick while you are away so you rest assured and can enjoy your time away and see all the fun they're having with me! :)

Marie was awesome! She created a welcoming, low stress, cozy environment for a dog. She sent us tons of pics and videos with updates, which helped to ease our anxiety with leaving her behind. Honestly, we think she might have had more fun at Marie’s then we did on our trip. Ha!

Our dog Luna had the best time with Marie. We left on the longest trip we've done since having Luna. We were nervous to leave Luna for such a long time. We did a trial with Marie for one night that went great. A couple of weeks later we went on a holiday for 11 days. Marie took Luna on lots of fun adventures and sent us daily photos and videos that we appreciated so much. We missed Luna and it was so nice to see her thriving with Marie and her two friendly little dogs. Luna even learned to share her bed. Marie has a great home for the dogs, with both a front and a backyard, where Luna could freely go between. We're very happy to have found and met Marie and know we can relax on our next vacation with our pup in very good hands.
Marie was so fantastic with our dog, Luna. Luna stayed overnight with Marie, who took her on enriching walks and sent us photo updates that were so appreciated. We were nervous to try Rover but Luna felt right at home with Marie, she didn't even want to leave when we picked her up. I brought kibble but forgot a can of wet food - Luna often won't eat her dry food without a little goodie. Marie used her own and was so caring for our dog. We will 100% be contacting Marie the next time we need dog sitting.

With my two dogs in the home, your pooch will feel part of the pack and have playmates. :) I am happy to follow your dog's habits here as well so they feel super comfy. After puppies spend 6+ weeks in my foster care, I always get compliments on how well behaved and trained they are. Routines are important in my home, so your dog will have a steady environment to enjoy while you are away.

A typical day
Whether your dog loves to sleep, play, run, I will find activities that suit their need. I can walk them around the neighborhood where they will discover lots of new smells, or take them to the shaded lake. Every other day, I am happy to take them on exciting outings to the park or on a hike, depending on your/their preferences.

I am currently working part-time, from home, so I will be with your dog most of the time! :) I am used to taking care of puppies (who need around the clock care) and I have two dogs on my own so your dog will be in great company here!
