Pet care experience
I have been working with dogs for over 10 years. Each dog is unique and has different needs that I am able to easily adapt to. I can provide fun adventurous days for your dog or quiet peaceful days on the couch. Whatever your dog needs, I can do it. I am experienced with: -puppies with potty and crate training -high-energy dogs with high-energy play sessions, walks, and runs. -senior dogs with slow and steady walks where we regularly stop in the nice sunny spots in the grass -dogs with needs and giving medicine orally, topically, and any other way medicine needs to be administered. -Diabetic dogs and administering painless insulin shots. I look forward to hearing from you and excited to meet your pet(s).

Marie was great! She loved our Roger while we were away, took him for lots of walks and sent me updates with pictures everyday to let me know how he was doing. She definitely made it easy for us to enjoy our vacation knowing that he was happy! Thank you so much Marie!! We will be calling you every time we have to travel without him!! Ps- he smelled like lemons when we got home!! Usually he smells of Doritos! Definitely a nice treat!
My dog and cat are used to me being home, dog Billy has escaped from a kennel, escaped from friends keeping him and chewed the hair off his leg on an overnight stay by himself the one time I tried just a sitter. Marie stayed over and when I got home, everybody was happy and content. She stayed in touch with texts and many photos of walks in the park etc. Both pets got plenty of attention. I really appreciated knowing they felt secure.

Information Marie V. would like to know about your pet
I want to provide your dog the best time in my care and minimize any potential problems. Before meeting a dog, I would like to know their serious medical history, energy levels, training behaviors, feeding routine, potty routine, local vet, and any dog/people aggression. I do not have any breed preferences. I've taken care of everything from Great Pyrenees and Great Danes to Chihuahuas and Pugs.
A typical day
I recently moved from the Fan to the Short Pump area. I live very close to Deep Run Park and Short Pump Dog park. But I do love Byran Park and Byrd park so I regularly find myself back at these places, especially with high-energy dogs! I am a full-time Ph.D. Student at VCU and generally am on campus from 9 to 5 pm 3 to 4 times a week. Your dog will get a long walk first thing in the morning and a long walk right when I get home from school. In between that, they get lots of potty breaks. On weekends, weather permitting, I love taking dogs on adventures around Richmond.
