Hi! My name is Marie, I am 27 years old and currently live in Downtown DC (Mt Vernon Square Area). While I do work full time at the moment, I work from home 2-3 days of the week and have a lot of free time on weekends. I would love to take care of your pet whenever needed! I adopted my pup, Kala, in February of 2018 when she was just 2 months old, so I have lots of experience dealing with all the puppy behavior; from leash pulling, to biting, and even zoomies around the house 24/7. Learning to care for her and train her taught me a lot about pet care, so it is safe to say I feel comfortable with caring for any pet now! As a dog owner, I know how important our babies are to us, and how we want to make 100% sure they are always in a safe environment, being loved and responsibly taken care of at all times. I can guarantee that you will always have that peace of mind when your pet is with me, as they will always be in a clean, safe, comfortable and happy environment. Aside from taking care of my own pup and having previously owned 2 dogs before Kala, I have been a pet sitter and dog walker for about 5 years. You can always count on me to be on time if you book me for a walk, check in, or care for your pet, as they will become my #1 priority while they are in my care (lots of play time and spoiling also included!) I look forward to speaking and getting to know eachother more :)

I have a clean, spacious apartment and one very friendly pup. Everything is dog proof and the neighborhood is super dog friendly as well! There is a fenced dog park right across the street where I like to take them for fetch and a bit of running around. As a dog owner, I can guarantee that my apartment and all sorroundings are safe for any pet.

Before welcoming your pup into our home, I would just like to know if they have any history of being aggresive towards other dogs or people, just so I can be aware of what the best way to interact with them is! Feel free to tell me anything else you think i should know about your pet :)
A typical day
I usually take my dog to a nice dog park in my neighborhood with lots of friendly pups and owners. If your dog is afraid of interaction or other dogs, no worries, I can definitely do solo walks to ensure they are always safe and comfortable. As far as boarding, I live in a spacious apartment with just my pup, who is very nice, mellow and friendly. Your dog will always be in a clean, safe and comfortable environment sorrounded by lots of love & toys.

Availability
Schedule: I am currently WFH 3-4 days a week and free most weekends! While I am at home, I have plenty of time for playing with dogs, taking them on walks, and keeping an eye out at all times to make sure they are having a good time. I am always open to do boarding, walks and visits during the week and weekends as well.
