Pet care experience
I worked at a dog daycare for 2.5 years and have experience with all breeds, sizes and ages of dogs. I also have experience training dogs with all different types of temperaments. My typical job duties are to feed the dogs, clean up after them, play with the dogs using bubbles and toys, carefully watch the pups play with each other and most importantly, show the dogs love and affection! I also have experience dog walking, as I had several clients located in and around Richmond, Virginia before moving to the Portland area. I have reliable transportation and don't mind driving a few miles to spend time with your pup! Looking for a feline babysitter? I'm available! Marie is one of the most dependable and conscientious walkers I've had for my Boston Terrier. Marie would walk my dog during the day when I was at work. I completely trusted Marie to enter my house, walk my dog in the city, and to get him calm and settled back inside after the walk. Marie was great about sending me a picture and letting me know how their walks went. She was great a picking up on his moods and would tailor the walks accordingly - I completely trusted her and she was great at figuring things out. Always a great experience working with her. PS -And her pictures she would send are really great! Anyone who captures their personality the way she does is definitely an animal person.
Marie cared for our kitties while we were on vacation. She filled the food bowls, kept both the water fountain and water bowl filled with fresh water, kept the litter boxes clean and brought in the mail and newspapers each day. We found Marie to be very dependable and trustworthy.
Marie was great with my greyhound, Isla! She cared for Isla like she was her dog. Very responsible and took great pictures. Would highly recommend.
Marie is great! She is always available, even when some people were evacuating due to the fires, she was still here to watch my dog, as I still had to work. She was my backup sitter but now I've made her me primary as she is reliable. Thank you Marie!
