Pet care experience
Even if your dog is covered in mud and I’m wearing a white shirt, I’d love to pet him or her like crazy. I’m a regular volunteer at the humane society. I train the dogs, love the dogs, walk the dogs, and even make them entertaining treat filled toys to calm them. I have dog sat puppies 1 year old to dogs 13 years old and everytime I have enjoyed every minute. I have rescued dogs who have lost sight of their homes, especially a few huskys, and returned them to their loving families. With online college giving me a flexible schedule I can spend hours keeping your dog happy and safe while you are away. I have gained experience in training and understanding every lovable pup, so you can count on me.

Marie was absolutely fantastic! We set up a meet and greet beforehand (Oliver has some anxiety issues with new people) and she knew exactly how to let him come to her. Her lab Leah was also great at calming Oliver's nerves, and he had a blast with her. During his actual stay Marie was great about sending me updates and videos to show me he was having a great time. After we got home he slept all day with us, which was great because we were also exhausted from the weekend. Next time I go out of town, she is on top of my list of sitters!
Marie has dog sat for us extensively when we traveled and has asked us at times if she could come over and walk our dog Clara (no fee) just because she wanted to.We knew we could always rely on her to care for our Clara who seemed to be very happy while we where away. You can count on Marie to give your pet nice walks because she is a true animal lover and it shows by the number of pets she has had growing up and our dog Clara loved her too. I am happy to answer any questions.
I have known Marie Meredith for multiple years. She has never skipped an opportunity to spend time with my two dogs Bear and Mo and I've never seen a dog she didn't like. Even with my yappy little ankle biters she maintains the loving and kind attitude and my dogs love her. She's sweet, caring, and the only person I trust wholeheartedly to take the best care she possibly can to ensure my dogs happiness.
Marie has been volunteering in the behavior department at Capital Area Humane Society for two months as a Dog Training volunteer. She arrives at her scheduled time each week and is always ready to learn. Marie has picked up on training quickly and treats all of our dogs with compassion, patience and understanding. She has shown that she is a hard worker who is comfortable receiving constructive criticism and isn't afraid of getting her hands dirty.

I have no breed preferences because if treated right by caregivers any breed is a good breed. I would love to know anything you’d like me to know about your dog, from energy level to medical problems I should be aware of. If you think it’s best I know your dog loves stuffed toys then I’d be happy to hear all about it. I do also request that you tell me whether they are dog or cat friendly.
A typical day
I have access to soldans dog park if your dog likes or doesn’t mind being around other dogs. If your dog prefers not to spend time with other dogs I can take them to explore the woods in my yard. I can bike, run, or walk with your dog in their preferred scene. If they are an older dog with minimal activity I would love to simply give them love. Your pup will not be left alone if they are staying the night but instead be by my side in case they need anything.
