***Before booking, please note that I live in a studio apartment with an unfenced shared yard so dogs with less energy are a better fit for a small space! We will go on lots of walks for exercise but unfortunately no off leash playing or running. Also, I do have a very friendly, relaxed cat that enjoys dogs, handles them well, is not intimidated or scared by them, does not hiss, scratch or run away. Most dogs get used to the cat fairly quickly. I have housed several dogs and so far we have had nothing but positive experiences without any issues affecting the cat or dogs. I have a cat , Cappie- 5 yrs (I refer to him as a dog-cat because he loves dogs and acts like one too!), and a dog, Surly-9 years (my best bud), and they are the best roommates a girl could have. I enjoy training and helping animals become more comfortable and happy. My animals are rescues from the Humane Society and have come such a long way since their adoptions. Adopting my dog in 2011 inspired me to get more involved in helping animals in any way possible. Animals have so much to teach us! I live in a fun area to go exploring and enjoy long walks- the dogs love it! I am responsible, trustworthy and friendly.
