On breed preferences, shih-tzu and lhasa apso breeds have a special place in my heart, soul, bed and lifestyle. Some family members have allergies and I therefore keep everything clean (vacuum and mop are w/in easy reach). Harsh cleaners and sprays are not used at home for the safety of all living things/humans/animals. Two-legged and four-legged creatures need to have clean feet in certain areas of the house. So expect that your puppy will have their paws wiped after each walk. Please bring your vaccination records during a meet and greet (when applicable). I'm flexible with drop-off times and would ask that you leave with me: the vaccination records, collar/harness, dog food, and favorite things (bowls, toys, blanket, treats, bed). I'm able to provide a pet bed, leash some squeaky toys and a welcome/farewell treat (upon your review). If your dog is crate-trained please drop that off too. As soon as you know you will be picking up at a later time, message me and we can discuss an extension stay. I can manually pro-rate via the Rover feature.

What I can assure you is that your pup will enjoy walks during his/her stay. I enjoy dog walking and our neighborhood has wide sidewalks and trails. Plus my own dog transforms into a happy puppy when she knows she has a fellow pup that will walk with her. On walks I always stay alert since pets are kids too and will keep them away from cars and unleashed pets! Let me know if you have a routine, favorite game and I'll make sure we have play, cuddle and chilling out time. I believe in routines so I will follow your routine. I signed up my services on Rover because it has been hard for me to get a good sitter-- if I could help a pet parent like me and make a doggy less stressed then that's one good deed! I usually help out friends with their canine or human child so Rover allows me to help dog parents as well as fulfill the need to have more dogs in my life.
