Pet care experience
I have had pets my whole life ranging from dogs to reptiles to even birds! It is safe to say I am an animal lover. In the past I have spent time volunteering with stray dogs and I also started a small pet sitting business in college. Due to work constraints I am unable to get my own pets presently, but I'd love to help you care for yours!

Marie is a great pet caretaker who takes her responsibilities seriously. She is compassionate, observant, and careful. She loves animals and is able to communicate very well with them. Dogs and cats trust her and quickly come to love her, too. She is an excellent dog walker, able to run and play with large dogs who need to burn off energy but also able to pace smaller or older dogs. She has been excellent dealing with several of my dogs, even one with severe PTSD that came to us as a rescue and who has become much more at ease, in large part because of her time with Marie.
Marie was the sitter for my two dogs for over 2 years and was wonderful with them. She was always on time and clearly loved them and took great care of them, even giving them medicine when they were sick and I couldn't do it myself. She loves animals and it shows. She even stayed overnight sometimes when we went out of town. She's completely trustworthy and a very sweet human being. I highly recommend her.
Marie is extremely kind and to call her an animal lover would be an understatement! I have known Marié for over 10 years and her love for animals is unmatched. Dogs tend to take to her very quickly and my family dog Jack loved her. Marie is also very responsible and knows how to take care of dogs as she has past experience with her own dogs Angel and Lola. Marie has also cared for my current dog Nova even when she was a young puppy. Marie is completely trustworthy and I would not hesitate to have her watch after Nova again.

My home is in a wooded area on about an acre of land, plenty of space for your pet to run around! In our basement apartment there are two friendly dogs who play well with others and are very sweet. Depending on your preference I can keep them separate from your pet, or if you'd like your pet to have some companions we can introduce them. The house is large with lots of cozy nooks to relax in and plenty of space to play. In your home I will always adhere to any rules you may have and be very respectful of your space.

A typical day
Near my home there are tons of beautiful, dog friendly trails I enjoy taking walks on. My neighborhood is quiet so even a quick walk down the block is very peaceful too. In my backyard there is plenty of land and even a small river running through, making it the perfect spot for exploring.
