Pet care experience
I love dogs. I have been around or working with them nearly all my adult life, most recently a tiny, middle-aged, Teacup Yorkie full of love and needs. I was trained years ago as a Veterinary Assistant and have performed those and Veterinary Reception duties on and off over the years. I love good walks and playing. I enjoy practising any tricks or games your dog may know. Communication all around is essential, so tell me all about your dog! I want to know! I can easily be reached through Rover and via messages and will always reply promptly. I have no breed preferences, but I'm not a big person so the larger the dog the better manners while walking will be necessary. Most of all, though, I want to make both you and your dog happy and comfortable!

Marie is a trained veterinary assistant who has worked with a variety of animals from seals and owls (with a wildlife rescue group) to very small dogs. She has cared for my two rather large dogs, they adored her, and lately for a very small dog who was her faithful companion. She has an excellent rapport with animals, especially dogs. She has walked, fed, groomed, loved, comforted and helped many. She is a reliable and trustworthy person. She would, I am sure, give your dog all the care and attention that you wished. Constance W.
Marie loves dogs, and understands them. Until recently, she had co-care for a teacup Yorkie, who adored her (and she still loves the "wee little thing" but they can't currently be together), Marie often talks about the dogs she grew up with, and her experiences working in a vet office. In addition to knowing and caring about dogs (animals of all sorts, really) Marie is very personable and friendly to humans.

I will find the closest dog or dog-friendly park close by, or walks on the sidewalks around the neighborhood if sidewalks are available. I love playing fetch and tug. We'll always practice tricks and good manners and make them fun!
