Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Cruz and I've had dogs, cats and assorted other pets for most of my life. I'm very comfortable caring for animals of all shapes and sizes. I know we can't always provide our pets with the care that they need, so let me help you! I'm happy to let out, feed and play with your pet in your absence. They'll love it and you won't have to spend the day worrying if they're okay. Or maybe you have other small pets (rodents, fish, reptiles) that could use some care while you're away. I'm happy to accomodate, let me know what you need and together we can map out a care plan that works for you. I look forward to meeting you and your pet(s)!

Cruz was so thorough and an excellent communicator… I felt a comfortable, calm presence when we met that made me feel like my dogs were in good hands. I work to adhere to the systems your pet is already used to and I always like to keep an eye on your pet when let out into your backyard (if applicable). I can crate your pet if needed, or make sure they're placed within whatever parameters keeps them safe, cozy, and out of trouble.

I'm comfortable working with all breeds! Please let me know if your dog has displayed any aggression with other dogs, other animals or people in the past so I can customize care to their needs. If your pet has any specific anxieties/triggers, we can discuss options for minimizing your pet's stress while you're away.
A typical day
I work hard to adhere as closely to your pet's normal routine as possible and stick to meal and walk times as closely as possible. I'm happy to engage with your pets with whatever toys they most enjoy.

Availability
I thankfully have a very flexible work schedule, that allows me the ability to work remotely the majority of the time. With notice, I can make time for walks or drop-in visits at whatever time works best for your pet. I'm generally flexible for house sitting as well!
