Hello! My name is Mariciel, it rhymes with carousel, but most people call me Mari. I am a dog lover! I love dogs more than I love people, to be honest. I am a proud owner of a small, but fierce 7 lb. Miniature Pinscher, Coco! I miss her dearly, she's in California with her grandparents. I miss having a cuddle buddy and my best friend around, good news is I can treat your best friend as though they were my best friend! I went to graduate school at NYU, after I finished, I decided to move back to the best coast. I now reside in Portland/Hillsboro, Oregon and love the great outdoors. Dog walking would be a great way to meet new people, new pups, and explore this new area. I can make healthy, homemade dog treats and dog food too. Doggy chef over here! Just let me know if you'd like that and what your furry pal's food allergens are. :)

Mariciel was great! Allie seemed to really like her during our meet and greet :) She was also very attentive, leaving the AC on during the hottest days so that Allie would not struggle with the heat. She also regularly sent pictures (a little blurry at times :P) and Allie looked happy and healthy. She couldn't make it to the apartment a couple of times, so she sent her boyfriend instead, but Allie seemed to get along well with him too, so no complaints. Would definitely re-book her again!
Mariciel watched my dog Rex for a long weekend, and did such a great job. She sent pictures of him looking super happy and made sure to play with him and give him plenty of attention while we we're gone. She also went above and beyond to turn our AC on during the day for him through a heatwave which made me feel a lot better about leaving him alone in the apartment. I definitely recommend Mariciel, and will use her next time we are gone!
Great and friendly walker!
Mariciel is a gem of a pet sitter. If you’re lucky enough to book her, she will take excellent care of your fur baby. She’s thorough, punctual, and a pleasure to work with. She even ran our dishwasher when we were gone so we didn’t come home to dirty catfood dishes! I will definitely rebook whenever she’s free! You’ll be glad you did, too!

Me and your best friend will go on walks around Carl Schurz Park, Central Park, Washington Square, Prospect Park, or Fort Greene Park. Please let me know if your dog has a certain preference and routine, and I can follow that as well. I can teach your dog new tricks too!! I consider myself a dog whisperer, haha.
