All my life, I’ve grown up with dogs, been taking care of them, feeding them, walking them since I was able to walk. I’ve even been a foster mom for strayed dogs that have been left alone on the streets. With patience and care, I’ve been able to rehabilitate dogs that wouldn’t even let you touch them, or that would be cornered in a corner hiding away scared of what might happen to them. When I moved to the US at 34 years old, I even began to open up my heart to cats. Formed friendships and even began feeding stray cats on the beach.
