Pet care experience
I grew up with dogs all my life and understand their needs especially with that special look they give you! I want to take care of dogs because I JUST WANT TO HUG AND HOLD THEM SINCE we both get so much love from this process. I am active & know that dogs need to be active also, so if they don't get their exercise in our large yard, we (me or husband) will take them for walks, plus walks create so much interest in their lives. We understand that their routine is important and will abide by YOUR routine as much as possible. I make special wet dog food for our dog and if you want, after you check ingredients, we can share this food (guarantee that they will love it). Feeding time can be an issue as we know, so separate areas are provided for each dog so they can eat in peace while we supervise. I feed our dog 2x per day and let him out as often as he wants. In between we play with his toys and ball throwing, but he wants to play with a friend "so much" the rest of the time.

Marianne and Tom were great! They are obviously dog people. We are very happy with the way they cared for our baby (who is blind and partially deaf!). I hope they are available next time we need to board Sasha. We would not hesitate to go back to them. Wonderful people!

Information Marianne S. would like to know about your pet
Before sitting for your dog, we would like If the dogs like each other at the meet and greet using their leashes which would be in the front of our property (breed preferences that I do NOT want ROTTWEILERS, MASTIVES, HUSKYS, DOVERMANS, and PIT BULLS. If the dogs do not get along, after they start their stay, I will provide safe areas by using a baby gates or a crate. If weather is nice, take turns between outdoors & indoor time; this may include small or shy dogs from our dog. Of course , we would use calming no blaming effects.
A typical day
Activities we may provide: travel with a car to a park after I know that the dogs will get along, or walk to park with dogs on leashes keeping them separated if need having 2 people walking separately. Go on street and walkways around the neighborhood, sometimes find some water play. Together: play with a ball or wrestle in the grass, or play with the hose and water perhaps. Being available and watching carefully for disruptions between the dogs will be our highest priority.
