Hi! My name is Mariana! I have been providing pet care services to pet owners for over 20 years in Marin and Sonoma counties. I have volunteered at the Marin Humane Society in Novato over the years as a dog walker and adoption specialist. I am an advocate of "Adopt, Don't Shop" and all of my dogs have been rescued. I specialize in small dog breeds so if you have a chi or yorkie then I'm your gal! Over the years, I have become very experienced as a pet care provider. I have worked with all different types of animals and while I specialize in dogs, I can provide excellent care for all your critters! I have experience working with all age ranges of dogs so whether you have a brand new bouncy puppy or a sweet grey muzzled senior, they will receive the same level of care and love. I provide an open and loving environment for your animals so if you want your pup smooched, pet and sweet talked then you are in the right place! I strive to make every dog feel comfortable and relaxed while in my care so please let me know about any little quirks, likes, dislikes, etc. that will help me achieve that! Even the smallest detail might make the biggest difference, so don't leave anything out! Treats are every dogs favorite food and I make sure to stock all different kinds so please let me know if you are ok with your pup getting treats and if they have any dietary restrictions. I'm taking on new clients immediately and am available to chat any time of the day so feel free to send me a message!! I look forward to meeting you and your fur babies! This is my full time job so your pet will receive 24/7 attention! I am blessed to be able to do what I am passionate about! I have a fully fenced and secure backyard that is quite spacious and a comfy and pet-friendly home! I allow pets on the furniture in my home but am happy to keep your pet off if that is what you do at your home. I strive to make every pet enjoy their stay but also don't want to send them home with any bad habits!

Mariana did an excellent job caring for our elderly dog, Clark. He is anxious and needy at baseline and stresses easily. She was able to work with him to keep him calm and feeling safe. She had others dogs the week we left Clark with her. They added to his wonderful stay with Mariana. She was able to give Clark all he needed and more. Walking time, play time, medications twice daily and quiet time. He is happy to be home and loved his stay with Mariana. We will definitely book more time with Mariana when we have a chance to get away again.
We were very pleased with Mariana's care of our dog. We would definitely recommend her services.
Mariana was wonderful with my puppy and has some good tips on training for him. Her knowledge of dogs was so helpful to me. We can't wait to see her again!

I have a fully fenced in large backyard that I have puppy proofed. My home has also been puppy proofed and there is lots of space to romp around and plenty of doggy beds and couch space to curl up on!

A typical day
I mostly walk low traffic neighborhoods and biking/walking trails. We are lucky to live in an area that is very dog friendly and has great trails and hikes all within a reasonable distance. On walks, I will often stop at a park or dog park and let the pups romp around or throw a frisbee or a ball, but am happy to skip that if your pup does not do well around a lot of other dogs, so just let me know! When inside, I make sure to engage and interact with pups frequently with toys and treats for good behavior.

Availability
I'm blessed to be able to do what I love full time. I follow a normal daily and nightly routine. When I do need to leave the house for whatever reason, my bf or housemate are usually home so your pup will- always have someone there!
