Marianne is an amazing sitter. I moved out of VA almost a year ago now so unfortunately haven't been able to have her watch my dog recently, but I've used at least a half dozen other Rover sitters and haven't found anyone who matches her level of care, kindness, and dedication. Marianne took Quito out for walks when I was at work as well as stayed overnight with him for several long weekends and always ...

Marianne was polite and punctual and took very good care of our girl! I felt she genuinely enjoyed walking our dog, and always gave a thorough report! It put my mind at ease knowing my pup is in good hands while I’m at work.

Marianne is wonderful! A true animal loving person with a kind spirit that shows! My normally grumpy Pomeranian was calm right when he met her - they know good when they see it )))

Safe & Reliable TLC for Furbabies!

I'm not quite retired and a mom of four grown kids with a teen still at home. I have two adorable grandchildren. I love to bake and during the holidays and on special occasions you will find me up to my elbows in mixing bowls, flour, sugar, butter and eggs! I have done some volunteer work and anticipate volunteering soon at the local animal rescue and shelter. My experience with caring for animals includes walking ...

What Marianne would like to know about your dog

For dogs needing walks, it is important to know how socialized your pet is to other dogs (if dog aggressive) and to people so that I may adjust the walk as needed. Does your pet have separation anxieties? This is good to know beforehand so that I can provide the best care in helping them be at ease while you are away and if I must be away for brief errands while pet sitting on extended stays, I want to be sure your dog is secure and relaxed until I return. For special needs pets, I have walked a couple of dogs who were blind and they required a little extra assistance and time in order to enjoy being able to get outdoors and go for a walk. Those are just a few things good to know before starting the visit or pet sitting and going on walks.
