I am an artist and an art therapist who works full time (daytimes) in a medical setting. I've had dogs (beagle, husky & Collie) as well as have fostered & sat for dogs all of my adult life. 7 years ago, my last dog passed away from cancer. I had been dog-less for three years and it was tough. My last housemate had a dog which helped to satisfy my need to have one though recently I have adopted one of my own, a hound-mutt named Georgie. I am a few blocks from a Greenway and a dog park...and Georgie & I love long walks as much as your dog does! The house has carpeted and tiled floors and space to be. Each dog will be loved as though he/she is my own pet. There is a lot of love to share. Dogs should be able to spend a full day alone on weekdays as I work a standard week. The weekends, however, are all about your pup!
