Pet care experience
I have always strived to learn the best ways to care for animals from 4-H showmanship in my youth, volunteering at several animal rescues, and acting as a veterinary assistant for two years. Now I own Cascade Creek Pet Care, which allows me to use the skills that I have learned to help my clients meet their pet's unique needs. I pride myself in fear-free care focusing on animal behavior while maintaining safety. I find that patience and empathy are the two most essential mindsets when working with animals. Since starting Cascade Creek Pet Care in September last year, I have maintained many clients for regular pet sitting, dog walking, and pet toenail trims.

Marianne is the best. We have 6 cats plus a salt water fish tank. She takes excellent, loving care of all of them. In fact, I've already had Marianne put me on her books for a trip I'm taking in May.
Marianne is the best! We planned a two week trip out of the country and contacted Marianne to set up a meet and greet a few months before departure. She arrived at the scheduled time with a notebook and took notes on all of our pets (3 cats, 2 dogs and 3 macaws) regarding health issues, idiosyncrasies, feeding habits, special needs and so on. She spent time with the dogs, letting them get to know her as well. We were very pleased with her professionalism! We met again just prior to our trip and went over everything again as well as veterinary and emergency contacts. We opted for a twice a day visit and she would come and stay for an hour each time making sure the dogs got some playtime and human comfort and interaction. The cats and the birds probably didn’t care but the dogs were very happy. We checked with her throughout our trip and we’re always rewarded with photos of our content pups! When we came home, we met again (the dogs were happy to see her) and finalized our payment for services and she left us report cards on how all “our kids” did! Super cute and I admit I was a proud mom!😉 Again, I can’t say enough on how pleased we were with her services and knowledge!! You will definitely be taken care of well as will your pets!

When we schedule check-ins or extended pet sitting, we thoroughly go over all pertinent details regarding caring for your pets and your home. I will bring forms for us to fill out together that will cover your contact information, an emergency contact for your pets, your veterinarian information, your pet's name, breed, age, feeding instructions, medical conditions, and any notable behaviors, how you would like me to handle any unexpected emergencies or health issues that occur while you are away, and the specifics of what services we are scheduling. I always treat my client's pets as if they are my own, with respect to keeping their routines and degree of care in place as much as possible. I have additional pet sitting insurance beyond Rover's coverage through my business, Cascade Creek Pet Care, which can cover veterinary medical expenses, property damages, and other accidental instances for which I may be at fault. At this time, I cannot offer for any animals to stay with me in my home.
