All my life I’ve had a dog as a family companion (so 27 years there!). I have personal experience training and working with high anxiety and behavioral dogs as our last family dog was a rescue and required special care. I am an avid volunteer and since high school have worked at Purrfect Pals cat shelter as an adoption counselor, the Pacific Science Center in animal care, and currently at the Seattle Animal Shelter working to socialize some of their critters (bunnies, etc.). I also studied animal behavior and psychology at the University of Washington, and currently work at North Seattle Veterinary Hospital. I have a lot of dog sitting experience and even dog sat for two of my professors, who are still repeat clients. I've dog sat for many family members and all shapes and sizes of dogs, but have the most hands on experience with dogs 40lbs and up. So I welcome our bigger furry friends! I am very experienced with topical, oral, and injectable medications for dogs and cats (if needed). I enjoy cycling as my main mode of transportation and one of my favorite activities is hiking and always jump at the chance to bring a furry friend along.
