Pet care experience
Located in Hubert, NC across from the Bear Creek fire station. I am committed to keeping your animals as safe & happy as they are in the comfort of their own home, which means I am more than willing to follow YOUR rules with YOUR pets! I’m unfortunately unable to offer care for cats due to my allergy, but am available to care for most caged animals alongside your pup! I currently have 2 dogs, (& 22 chickens, safely penned), & I have cared for a wide range of our friend’s animals over the years, from sneaky little hamsters, to bunnies & turtles! I have provided basic training with hand signals to several dogs (and a pig. Lol) over the years, & have trained two large-breed dogs for mobility work. I have also litter-trained 2 house rabbits! With each new pet comes lots of proper-care research, so please give me a few minutes to respond to your care-request.

Mariana you were absolutely great ! Not only did she take the booking last minute but also on A HOLIDAY! She introduced the puppies and made them all feel so comfortable! When I came to pick Echo up I don't think she wanted to leave ? absolutely beautiful family and would highly recommend her to anyone
This was the first time boarding our dog and I can't speak highly enough for the care he received from Mariana and her family. Our dog is a rescue and is a bit timid in new situations. Mariana took great care to introduce him to her dogs and her family. I could tell she was very comfortable with animals and she made our dog feel at ease right away. We will definitely use her again for any dog sitting needs we have in the future.
Mariana and her family did such a great job of taking care of my dog Roger during his stay with them. She sent regular updates with pictures, and even included Roger in their Christmas morning. She took special care to make sure he was comfortable during holiday fireworks and thunderstorms, and treated him like part of the family.
Mariana and her family were wonderful to our black lab Pepper! She was very careful about introducing her dogs to ours, and took time to make sure she knew details about Pepper. Mariana send pictures and was very accommodating to our schedule. Wonderful family, wonderful care! Pepper came home happy and healthy! We will definitely contact her the next time we go away. It is so nice to have a home for your pet that is an extension of your own.

My backyard is a little over a 1/4 acre with a 6ft privacy fence all the way around. Scroll down to meet my ‘lovely baby-dogs’! All 3 of my kids (10, 8, & 8 - yes, twins) are well-versed in how to behave around dogs (meaning, they will absolutely NOT be chasing, riding, feeding scraps of any kind, ect). We have a dog door into the backyard that I typically leave open during the day, & lock overnight for both safety and peace of mind. Though, my dogs are trained to use a doorbell, so I can have it closed 24/7 & let them out on demand, if you’d prefer.

A typical day
My neighborhood is quite secluded, down a long road without traffic. It makes for long, safe, walks along the grassy sides, so no worries of hot pavement in the summer months. Feel free to let me know which tricks you’re working on at home & I will be happy to help enforce your training regimen!
