Pet care experience
My first experience as a dog sitter was in 2011, when I moved from Brazil to NYC to take English classes. As the expenses were high, I started walking and sitting dogs to help my parents pay my costs. Back in Brazil, my family got a french bulldog named Bacon (haha) and I've been taking care of him since then. I'm also godmother (yes, I know...) of Lily and Ted, two sweet doggies adopted by my best friend. And as any good godmother, I also take care of them since they were little puppies back in 2016. Taking care of dogs and cats is not only a side job for me but also a great pleasure :)

Mariana was so helpful!! I had to go on a day trip and my other sitter fell through last minute. Mariana was very responsive, accommodating, and understanding. She met me and my dog ahead of the day for a brief meet and greet. My dog surprised me the day of, and he was quite shy about a new person being in my apartment without me there. However, Mariana was very patient with him, and I was so grateful for her help.
Mariana is hands down the best dog sitter I have ever had. She was so loving to my dog while I was away, was communicative and attentive, and most importantly, when my travel plans suddenly changed, was willing to stay with my dog until I figured out a way to get home. She is the absolute best and I can’t recommend her enough!
Definitely 5 stars. Mariana clearly loves dogs, and clearly knows them well. Twilight had a great time with her twice already. We found it very reassuring when Twi was incredibly happy the second time she saw Mariana. Not only that, she is also an outstanding communicator, and we got pictures with hilarious captions throughout the stay. You and your pet will be in great hands with Mariana.
Mariana was a greater sitter for our 6 month old golden retriever. She communicated with us and sent photos daily so we knew she was safe and happy. She was also super flexible on drop offs and pickups. Thanks Mariana!

I live in Stanford, which is basically a huge backyard with enough space for long walks. Moreover, there is a dog run to unleash dogs and let them run and play not even 1 mile from my place. This is a safe and happy environment to you pet :)

A typical day
I'm currently on vacation since my classes start just in the summer, so I would be at home with you pet during the entire stay, giving them full-time attention and closely fulfilling their needs. This also gives me plenty of time to go for walks with your pet and take regular potty breaks, exercise, have contact with nature, and play outside.
